Oregon Health Plan

The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) provides medical coverage to eligible low-income Oregonians. It offers various benefit plans depending on your eligibility:

  • OHP Plus is a full-benefit package provided to children and adults who are eligible for traditional Medicaid programs. The OHP Plus benefit package does not have premiums. Some adults have small co-payments for some outpatient services and prescription drugs.
  • OHP Standard is a limited benefit package provided under a specific medical program. The program covers only a limited number of uninsured adults who are not eligible for traditional Medicaid programs. Most people who get OHP Standard pay monthly premiums. OHP Standard does not have co-payments.

You are eligible under both the OHP Plus and OHP Standard Benefit packages for preventive services, which include immunizations, check-ups, and screening tests (such as mammograms and PAP tests). Services to help you stop smoking are also available. You can call the Oregon Quit Line at 1 (877) 270-7867 (toll-free) or talk to your provider.
