The Oregon Health Plan

What is the Oregon Health Plan (OHP)?

Am I eligible? Does it cost me anything?

How do I sign-up?

Where can I go for medical care?

Can I get help if I'm not a U.S. citizen?

What if I've been turned down for health insurance?

What if I am not a U.S. citizen and am not eligible for the Oregon Health Plan?

What are my options if I am a Senior?

What other resources are available if I'm not covered by the Oregon Health Plan
?

What if I can’t get Medicare but I still don’t have health insurance?

If you’re not eligible for Medicare, you have not been insured for the past six months (not including OHP), and you meet income requirements, you might be able to get help through the Family Health Insurance Assistance Program (FHIAP). FHIAP pays a percentage of your costs for private health insurance (including monthly premiums, deductibles and co-pays).

To apply for FHIAP call (888) 564-9669, or for TTY: (800) 433-6313.
